POLAND: Our school celebrated Safer Internet Day throughout the week, full of valuable lessons and interesting challenges! Older classes tackled the important topic of online hate by completing the "No to Hate" course on the Fundacja Dajmy Dzieciom Siłę educational platform. Thanks to this, students learned how to respond to online violence and how to build a positive online space. Grades 4 and 5 tested their skills and knowledge by solving puzzles in the escape room. It was great fun and a valuable lesson about online safety! The youngest students learned the story of Johnny and his sheep from the fairy tale Sheep in the Net, who discovered how important it is to use the Internet wisely. This educational story helped children understand what threats may be lurking online and how to avoid them. All students also had the opportunity to play Interlandia. Through interactive missions, children learned how to protect their data, recognize fraud, and be friendly Internet users. On the occasion of Safer Internet Day, we announced a poster competition promoting the principles of wise and safe Internet use! We will accept submissions until the end of February.
